Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Provide technical direction for the development, engineering, interfacing, integration, and testing of specific hardware and software components and systems.

Activities include requirements elicitation; system administration; conducting systems requirements reviews; developing concepts of operation and interface standards; developing system architectures and performing technical/non-technical system assessments and management - as well as documenting end-to-end system flow analysis.

Perform engineering Analysis of Alternatives activities to select optimal vendor solutions and capabilities.
-
Support short technical proposal activities and conduct briefings of new technologies.
-
Develop Bill of Materials (BOM) and Basis of Estimate (BOE) documentation.
-
Establish and follow formal Systems Engineering processes for coordinating system requirements tracking, system development, testing and integration activities among multiple teams, ensuring complete coverage of all interfaces.

Assist in the evaluation of potential products, new technologies, and technical solutions while developing capabilities to enhance the customer’s experience through service modernization, and system refresh, with little to no impact to mission.
Basic Qualifications:
-
Technical Bachelor’s Degree, and 10 years of hands-on experience in IT solutioning/engineering (education may be substituted with experience).

Possess an IAT level I baseline certification as defined by DoD 8570.01-M such as Security + (preferred) Network +, CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent certification or higher required.

Highly developed oral and written communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to various audiences and to communicate effectively with senior managers, colleagues and other stakeholders.

Experienced based on ITIL concepts and practices, and process focused

Experience in a technical management role with an understanding of IT equipment, network and end user devices.

Ability to handle complex customer situations and interact with all levels of personnel to provide a quick and effective resolutions
-
Familiarity with network monitoring tools, and some experience with network switches (port security and understanding of operations).

Security+ certification or other IAT Level II certification.

Preferred Qualifications:
-
Eight years of hands-on systems engineering, and/or network, end-user, and security experience supporting the design, deployment, and operation of Enterprise IT capabilities.

Strong understanding of ITSM fundamentals and related infrastructure to include some level of experience with ServiceNow, Splunk, VMware, Windows, UNIX and related operating systems; CAN Networking; Risk Management Framework, and Databases.

Experience with Thin & Thick client end points, Cloud Computing, Splunk, Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI), VTC systems, and VoIP
-
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; ability to interface with the customer daily and explain complex technical topics to both internal and external customers with ease.
Physical Requirements:

The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to collaborate with other leaders/teams, use standard office automation equipment, and virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
Compensation: We are committed to providing fair and competitive compensation. The salary range for this position is $78,000 to $250,000 per year. This range reflects the compensation offered across the locations where we hire. The exact salary will be determined based on the candidate's work location, specific role, skill set, and level of expertise.
