Required: Strong knowledge of cloud solutions included but not limited to AWS, OpenStack and Microsoft Azure products. Demonstrated experience using tools like OpenStack, Eucalyptus, OpenShift, and Kubernetes. Must possess one active mid-level or advanced cloud certification (i.e. AWS, Azure, OpenStack). Must have 9 years of related work experience and a bachelor’s degree in a related technical field. Must work with little to no prescriptive guidance. An additional four (4) years of relevant experience can be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree.
Development experience with both Linux and Windows workloads using cloud technologies with automation including Amazon Cloudformation, OpsWorks, Ansible, Chef, and Docker. Demonstrated experience writing software scripts using languages such as Perl, Python, or Ruby.
Provide Tier I/II support. Follow established guidelines for delivery of cloud based resources.
Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of customer resources.
Provide assistance to users in accessing and utilizing cloud based compute resources.
Serve as the technical point of contact between the customer and the Architecture and Capacity Engineering teams.
Maintain currency of relevant documents and update the Wiki and SharePoint knowledge bases.
Monitor and respond to chat rooms.

Must be able to deploy new cloud production, staging, and test environment.
Responsible for all aspects of integration and deployment to include, Infrastructure and application deployment, load testing, and disaster recovery.
Must take planning seriously and strive for a seamless transition with little to no downtime.
Should be able to identify the most agile, scalable infrastructure, and select the best cloud services and technologies for customer projects and plan all implementation procedures.
Should be able to automate and deploy cloud infrastructures.
Is responsible for full documentation of the cloud infrastructure to enable a smooth handoff to application team.
Should have experience writing software scripts using scripting languages such as Perl, Python, or Ruby.
Demonstrated experience planning and implementing Infrastructure as a Service (iaaS) and Platform as a Service (Paas) using tools like OpenStack, Eucalyptus, OpenShift, and Kubernetes.
The architect will be responsible for deployment of new solutions into existing cloud resources or off-premise infrastructure.

Compensation: We are committed to providing fair and competitive compensation. The salary range for this position is $78,000 to $250,000 per year. This range reflects the compensation offered across the locations where we hire. The exact salary will be determined based on the candidate's work location, specific role, skill set, and level of expertise.
