TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION YOU MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE TS/SCI WITH THE ABILITY TO OBTAIN A CI POLYGRAPH SECURITY CLEARANCE (U.S. CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED)
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain an integrated master schedule (IMS) and integrated master plan (IMP) for program management in federal contracting
- Work with project managers and stakeholders to gather and analyze project data to create accurate IMS and IMP schedules
- Ensure project schedules are updated and maintained with actual data and progress updates
- Identify critical paths and potential schedule risks, and work with project teams to mitigate and manage these risks
- Establish and maintain the linkages between the IMP and IMS, and ensure that all project activities are aligned with the program's goals and objectives
- Provide schedule status reports to management and other stakeholders as required
- Communicate schedule impacts to project teams and stakeholders, and help develop and maintain a shared understanding of project timelines
- Implement schedule management best practices and tools, and work with project teams to continuously improve the scheduling process
Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of project management principles, scheduling methodologies, and integrated master planning processes
- Experience creating and maintaining integrated master schedules and plans for large and complex projects in a federal contracting environment
- Ability to gather and analyze project data to create accurate schedules and plans
- Experience using scheduling software such as Microsoft Project
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with project teams and stakeholders at all levels
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify critical paths and potential schedule risks
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
Desired Skills:
- Experience working with Earned Value Management (EVM)
- Knowledge of federal contracting regulations and compliance requirements
- Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies such as Agile or Scrum
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent
Years of Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience creating and maintaining integrated master schedules and plans for large and complex projects in a federal contracting environment.
Desired Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
