System Integration Technician: Systems Engineer II

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:
  • TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION YOU MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE TS/SCI W/ FULL SCOPE POLYGRAPH SECURITY CLEARANCE (U.S. CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED).

• Understanding of core/infrastructure services (NTP, TFTP, DNS, etc.).
• Understanding of software package transfer and installation methods.
• Understanding of Critical interfaces and data exchanges/standards/APIs-ICDs.
• Understanding of provisioning/orchestration.
• Understanding of data center usage/patterns.
• Understanding of resource sizing (VM allocation).
• Knowledge of virtual image snapshots/restore/backups.
• Understanding of storage technologies and dataflow.
• Understanding of cross domain solutions and data transfer.
• Knowledge of resource usage model.
 
DESCRIPTION
 
• Work closely with product teams to define product features and integration solutions in support of infrastructure capabilities.
• Designs and implements the solution which addresses the "HOW" the functional needs are incorporated within the product suite.
• Work with the ATLASIAN tool suite to track requirements (JIRA & Confluence).
• Define/outline security needs (to include Secure the Enterprise and LPOC).

REQUIRED: Minimum five (5) years experience in a technical role in projects and programs for Government or Industry customers.

REQUIRED: Five (5) years experience as a Systems Engineer in programs that encompass system architecture, requirements analysis, process execution and evaluation.

REQUIRED: At least three (3) years direct experience with an intelligence community or signals intelligence activity.

REQUIRED: Experience in the following: Solaris and Linux; Solaris, Linux, and Windows utilities and techniques to diagnose and correct performance bottlenecks.

REQUIRED: Significant experience in the following: Designing complex collection systems; Integrating systems using multiple operating systems (Solaris, Linux, Windows 2000); Performing tradeoff studies; and/or System performance analysis.
