Software Engineer 1

Core Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience in software engineering within programs of similar scope and complexity.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (equivalent professional experience may be considered).

  • Technical Proficiency: Expert-level command of at least one major language: Python, C, or C++.

  • Environment: Proven track record developing for both Windows and UNIX environments, including shell scripting and automation.

Technical Responsibilities

  • Full-Lifecycle Development: Design, code, and debug applications while articulating the underlying methodologies to stakeholders.

  • Data & Performance: Experience managing large-scale datasets, implementing advanced algorithms, and performing deep-level system optimization.

  • Testing & Quality: Develop and execute comprehensive test procedures, including Unit, Integration, and Regression testing.

  • DevOps Integration: Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Ansible, Jenkins, or Bamboo).

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in Front End development.

  • Ability to deliver high-quality code under strict resource and performance constraints.

    Compensation: We are committed to providing fair and competitive compensation. The salary range for this position is $78,000 to $250,000 per year. This range reflects the compensation offered across the locations where we hire. The exact salary will be determined based on the candidate's work location, specific role, skill set, and level of expertise.
