Looking for a System Engineer candidate with experience and interest in actively interacting with users to translate their experience with our technology stack into actionable work items. Candidate will:
- Document user operations using front-end tools to assist in test plan development
- Assist documenting the architecture, dataflows and workflows that make up a complex technology solution.
- Actively perform outreach for issues reported via our service desk to ensure clarity and completeness
- Actively perform outreach to ensure solutions (i.e. bug fixes, enhancements, etc.) meet customer needs
- Assist DevOps team with updating and maintaining System Health & Status tools
- Assist monitoring the health of the system during duty hours
- Maintain existing architecture documentation by working with team leads to understand impact of work in progress
- Assist the team in identifying risks and mitigations
- Assist TTO Lead with weekly status reporting
- Assist team leads with Sprint activities: planning, ticket maintenance, retrospective
- Assist team leads with or Lead documenting release notes

Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university. Five (5) years of System Engineering experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree.

Contribute to the development of sections of systems engineering documentation such as System Engineering Plans, Initial Capabilities Documents, Requirements Specifications, and Interface Control Documents

Manage system requirements and derived requirements to ensure the delivery of production systems that are compatible with the defined system architecture(s) –Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), etc.

Assist with the development of system requirements, functional requirements, and allocation of  the same to individual hardware, software, facility, and personnel components

Coordinate the resolution of action items from Configuration Control Board (CCB) meetings, design reviews, and test reviews that require cross-discipline coordination

 

Compensation: We are committed to providing fair and competitive compensation. The salary range for this position is $78,000 to $250,000 per year. This range reflects the compensation offered across the locations where we hire. The exact salary will be determined based on the candidate's work location, specific role, skill set, and level of expertise.
