Cloud Systems Engineer w/ Java, Git, and Python

Requirements:
 
PRIMARY
• Experience working on agile software development teams.
• Experience in: Java, Git, Python, XML, Linux, and JavaScript.
• Working developers knowledge of the Linux operating system is crucial.
• Experience with SQL and Spring.
 
DESIRED
• Familiar with the elasticsearch stack (as the backend uses this for metrics) .
• Experience in: Ruby, ELK (elasticsearch and kibana specifically) & Apache NiFi.
• Working knowledge of basic networking concepts (i.e. comfortable w/ curl.
• Experience with C++ programming.
• Experience with AngularJS, TypeScript, Webpack, Yarn, NodeJS, JSON, and Yeoman.
 
DESCRIPTION
• Responsible for supporting and adding new features to an existing enterprise application.
• Responsible for gathering requirements, designing, and creating new forms, and user interfaces.
• Responsible for extending APIs to support new features and requirements using Java and Spring.
• Responsible for tool automation via Python scripts, and JavaScript.
• Responsible for resolving issues with existing automation scripts and APIs.

 
REQUIRED: Minimum twelve (12) years of experience in a technical role in projects and programs for Government or Industry customers.
REQUIRED: Five (5) years of experience as a Systems Engineer in programs that encompass system architecture, requirements analysis, process execution and evaluation.
REQUIRED:  One (1) year of experience architecting and designing hardware and software solutions for large cloud environments such as Hadoop clusters (>200 nodes).
REQUIRED: Three (3) years experience writing software scripts using scripting languages such as Perl, Python, or Ruby for software automation, and planning and implementing network solutions for complex, high performance systems composed of UNIX or LINUX-based hardware platforms.
